Bournemouth have secured the services of Juventus goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio on a one-year loan, with an option to buy for €14 million at the end of the current campaign. The agreement was reported by Sky Sport Italia and Fabrizio Romano on 9 May 2026, following the match between US Lecce and Juventus at Stadio Via del Mare in Lecce.
The deal comes after Juventus signed Guglielmo Vicario from Tottenham on loan with an option to buy, a move that the club said was made in preparation for Di Gregorio’s exit. The two clubs have reportedly shaken hands on the terms, with the Premier League side taking the Italian keeper for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
Di Gregorio’s Juventus Record
Di Gregorio, now 29, spent two seasons at the Allianz Stadium. In his second campaign he conceded 36 goals in 37 Serie A appearances, keeping 17 clean sheets. Over his entire Juventus career he has conceded 84 goals in 84 matches, with 36 clean sheets to his name.
The goalkeeper’s form has been a mixed bag. Just a few years ago he was named Best Keeper in Serie A during the 2023-24 season while playing for Monza. That accolade highlighted his potential, but his recent performances for Juventus have been less impressive.
