The 29-year-old leaves on a free transfer, although the Cherries could receive up to £1.3m in bonuses as well as 20% of any future sale. Unal's exit will create an opportunity for Canada international Daniel Jebbison, 22, to establish himself in the first team.

Why it matters for Bournemouth
The low fee reflects an injury-hit spell in which Unal played around 900 minutes over the past three seasons. The Cherries were also keen to reduce their wage bill. New manager Marco Rose has been impressed by Jebbison's performances in pre-season and wants to carry a third striker as they embark on a historic campaign in the Europa League.
What comes next?
Bournemouth are close to completing their summer business and are now working on a move that would see full-back Max Aarons leave the club. The south coast club rejected permanent offers from several Championship sides this summer, as well as interest from a couple of clubs in Europe.
