Bournemouth has confirmed that Enes Unal has left the club to rejoin Spanish side Getafe. The Turkey striker, 29, made 58 appearances for the Cherries, scoring five goals. He joined Bournemouth on a permanent deal in January 2024 for around £13m. Unal's departure is part of Bournemouth's efforts to reduce their wage bill. The club is close to completing their summer transfer business and is now working on a move that would allow full-back Max Aarons to leave the club. Bournemouth are currently 6th in the Premier League, 57 points from 38 games, with a recent form of DDWWD. They are 28 points behind leaders Arsenal and have scored 58 goals this season, conceding 54. The club's last result was a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest on May 24, 2026. Bournemouth are currently unbeaten in their last 5 games, with a recent form of DDDDW.
