Bournemouth has confirmed that they have dropped defender Alex Jimenez for their upcoming Premier League match against Fulham. This decision comes amid an investigation into serious social media posts involving the right-back. The club released a statement acknowledging the situation, emphasizing their awareness of the posts circulating online. They stated, 'AFC Bournemouth are aware of posts circulating on social media involving right-back, Alex Jimenez.' The club understands the seriousness of the matter and is currently conducting an investigation. As a result, Jimenez will not be included in the squad for the game against Fulham. Following Bournemouth's recent 1-0 victory over Fulham, head coach Andoni Iraola commented that he was uncertain if Jimenez would play again this season. Jimenez, who recently turned 21, has made 32 appearances for Bournemouth this season after his loan from AC Milan was made permanent in February.
